Taskbar Clock Customization

Custom date/time format, news feed, weather, performance metrics (upload/download speed, CPU, GPU, RAM, battery), media player info, custom fonts and colors, and more.

Only Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11 are supported.

Note: To customize the old taskbar on Windows 11 (if using ExplorerPatcher or a similar tool), enable the relevant option in the mod's settings.

Available patterns

Supported fields - top line, bottom line, middle line (Windows 10 only), tooltip extra line - can be configured with text that contains patterns. The following patterns can be used:

• %time% - the time as configured by the time format in settings.
  • %time<n>% - additional time formats which can be specified by separating the time format string with ;. <n> is the additional time format number, starting with 2.
  • %time_tz<n>% - the time with a custom time zone. <n> is the time zone number in the list of time zones configured in settings.
• %date% - the date as configured by the date format in settings.
  • %date<n>% - additional date formats which can be specified by separating the date format string with ;. <n> is the additional date format number, starting with 2.
  • %date_tz<n>% - the date with a custom time zone. <n> is the time zone number in the list of time zones configured in settings.
• %weekday% - the week day as configured in settings.
  • %weekday_tz<n>% - the week day with a custom time zone. <n> is the time zone number in the list of time zones configured in settings.
• %weekday_num% - the week day number according to the first day of week system configuration. For example, if first day of week is Sunday, then the week day number is 1 for Sunday, 2 for Monday, ..., 7 for Saturday.
• %weeknum% - the week number, calculated as following: The week containing 1 January is defined as week 1 of the year. Subsequent weeks start on first day of week according to the system configuration.
• %weeknum_iso% - the ISO week number.
• %dayofyear% - the day of year starting from January 1st.
• %timezone% - the time zone in ISO 8601 format.
• System performance metrics:
  • %upload_speed% - system-wide upload transfer rate.
  • %download_speed% - system-wide download transfer rate.
  • %total_speed% - combined upload and download transfer rate.
  • %disk_read% - disk read speed.
  • %disk_write% - disk write speed.
  • %disk_total% - combined disk read and write speed.
  • %cpu% - CPU usage.
  • %ram% - RAM usage.
  • %gpu% - GPU usage.
  • %battery% - battery level percentage.
  • %battery_time% - battery time remaining (charging time left / discharging time left).
  • %power% - battery power in watts (negative when discharging, positive when charging).
• Media player info (requires a GSMTC-compatible media player):
  • %media_title% - currently playing media title.
  • %media_artist% - currently playing media artist.
  • %media_album% - currently playing media album.
  • %media_status% - media playback status icon (⏯, ⏸, ⏹).
  • %media_info% - combined media info (Artist - Title), truncated with ellipsis. It's recommended to use this field on the taskbar, and other fields in the tooltip.
• %weather% - Weather information, powered by wttr.in, using the location and format configured in settings.
• %web<n>% - the web contents as configured in settings, truncated with ellipsis, where <n> is the web contents number.
• %web<n>_full% - the full web contents as configured in settings, where <n> is the web contents number.
• %newline% or %n% - a newline.

For Windows 11 version 22H2 and newer, the mod allows to change the clock text styles, such as the font color and size.
